As God’s Chosen Vessels it is the mission of the ministry to equip and educate young Christians in order that we may encourage and be encouraged in our Christian walk and be empowered in spite of the sacrifices that will be made for the purpose of transformation which will allow us to disciple and minister to peers. It is also the mission of the ministry to show young Christians the power of accountability and fellowship among one another as well as the enjoyment of serving God among people with the same desires.
Equip and Educate
God’s Chosen Vessels Ministries intends to provide thorough bible knowledge and application as well as model God’s character for young Christians. In addition to biblical teaching, the ministry will also provide real life circumstances for the participants to experience and evaluate and real life knowledge (i.e. job experience, college life, STDs, résumés) that they will be able to use on a daily basis but yet will not contradict the Word of God.
Encourage and Empower
Being a teen and young adult Christian in today’s society is a great struggle especially when everything that is considered to be a sin in the Word of God is now justified by casualty and accepted so freely. Therefore, GCVM seeks to encourage teens and young adults to be transformed and not conformed. Fellowship and worship among peers who have a sincere desire to serve God the same as their own is a tool that will encourage them as they realize that they are not alone in wanting to serve God freely. Testimonies of those individuals who have been in the similar situations and how they conquered the stronghold are intended to encourage participants to press on and not merely to be means of a gossip session.
Transform
God’s Chosen Vessels Ministries seeks true voluntary transformation of an individual’s heart, mind and soul as we learn the power of accountability and intercessory prayer for one another.
Disciple and Minister
Christ instructs us to go and make disciples of all men, thus it is the mission of GCVM to disciple through evangelism and performing ministries.
Vision:
To provide unity among young Christians who have a desire to serve the Lord and provide an opportunity to fellowship, worship, disciple and discover God’s purpose for their lives with support and encouragement from peers.
Motto:
As God’s Vessel let me be an instrument, holy and acceptable unto Him at all times, and when I lack may the fellowship among us encourage me to fulfill God’s purpose for my life.
Being
successful in life means being in the Will of God first.
